Electronic and plastic waste collection drive at all FFPL plants

A drive was conducted at all FFPL plant locations to raise awareness among FFPL associates on the importance of e-waste segregation, disposal, and reuse of plastic waste. Nearly 112 Kg of plastic waste and 58 Kg of e waste was collected through the drive. The collected waste was handed over safely to recyclers in order to dispose them scientifically.


Campaign for Waste Segregation Awareness

Nowadays solid waste management has become a major issue in India. Thus, on the occasion of World Environment Day i.e. 5th June, Fleetguard Filters Pvt Ltd arranged an awareness program among Rural Women on Waste Segregation at home and its disposal. The campaign was conducted to raise awareness about the environment and human health.

For Children (10yrs to 15 yrs.) Poster Competition was organized on the Theme- “POLLUTION AND SOLUTION”.

FFPL conducted two awareness campaign on 4th & 5th June 2019 at Sahajpur & Borate Vasti, Nandur. A total of 140 women from both the localities attended the campaign whereas around 40 students participated in the competition.


Plantation Drive

The increasing level of various pollution causing tremendous loss of atmospheric protective layers. There are numerous reasons that cause pollution and very few sources to limit it.

Preserving Green is one of the best gift that we can give to our future generations. There are multiple reasons why the process of tree plantation is important for the environment. Therefore, Fleetguard Filters Pvt. Ltd decided to organize Plantation Drive in and around Pune in association with NELDA and planted 50 Trees (grown-up to a height of 5ft to 6ft) at Hanuman Tekdi, on 8th June 2019. NELDA Foundation would be looking for the sustainability of the newly planted trees.

Tree Plantation Drives

Our Go Green initiative was aimed at doing our bit towards resurrecting the environment. We took up Tree Plantation Drives in schools, at our suppliers’ premises, at FLEETGUARD associates, Grampanchayats, Orphanages and on World Environment Day.


Eco-friendly Ganesha

Eco-enzyme is an organic solution which is made by fermenting a solution of jaggery, fresh vegetable or fruit waste, and water in the proportion of 1:3:10. Eco-enzymes act as biological catalysts and speed up biological reactions. They help balance the COD, BOD and PHD levels, as well as the methane and oxygen levels of water in the rivers.

Purpose of Eco-enzyme:

  • Reduces foul odor, mosquitoes, and insects
  • Cleans waste, sewage and ground water
